A day in the "high country"

A brownie comes to the net

Take a trip with TROUT FISHING SERVICES and fish for rainbow or brown trout amidst the scenery and solitude of Central Otago's high country.
Hidden in the golden tussock valleys amongst the ancient weathered schist tors of the Central Otago highlands are small lakes that are very productive rainbow trout and brown trout fisheries. It is my opinion that these trout are the most beautifully marked and coloured trout available in New Zealand.
- This experience is ideally suited to a party of no more than two anglers per guide.
- It's your choice of fishing method - fly fishing from the shore, boat or float tubing.
- Top quality gear is supplied.
- Clients are not charged for vehicle or boat transport, only the time spent fishing. Allow 12 hours (including transport).
- Tea, coffee and light lunches are supplied.
