For the period November 1 2006 to April 30 2007, I am offering six special FOUR DAY FLY FISHING PACKAGES (including five days accommodation).
These are:
- Central Otago Rivers Package (code F060701)
- High Country Lakes Package (code F060702)
- South Westland Fishing Package (code F060703)
- MacKenzie Country Package (code F060704)
- Southland Rivers Fly Fishing Package (code F060705)
- Silverpine Lodge Luxury Fly Fishing Package (code F060706)
Each package includes:
- Four days guided fly fishing
- Five nights accommodation (see images of accommodation below)
- All meals (breakfast, lunch and evening meal)
- All boat and road transport
- Fishing licence
- Use of fishing gear
The following is not included:
- Alcohol drinks
Please note:
- Trips commence and finish at Cromwell (with the exception of the Silverpine Lodge Luxury Fly Fishing Package). Transport can be arranged for the trip from Queenstown Airport to Cromwell (45 minutes) however this is not included in the cost.
- All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZ$) and Goods & Services Tax (GST) is included.
CENTRAL OTAGO RIVERS PACKAGE (code F060701)
I offer four days of guided dry fly and nymph fishing, targeting brown trout in pristine rivers and streams. Some of the trophy browns can weigh up to seven pounds or more. Beautiful locations, fantastic scenery, pristine water and wild brownies – no hatchery fish here! Sight fishing is a speciality.
Accommodation in proven quality homestays, where you can relax after your days on the water.

HIGH COUNTRY LAKES PACKAGE (code F060702)
This package offers four days of still water fly fishing at Central Otago’s high country lakes, with a different location each day. The high country brown trout and rainbow trout are large and colourful. Experience fishing in wide open rugged yet beautiful scenery. You may even recognize some locations from the Lord of the Rings. films.
Accommodation is in proven quality homestays with friendly and professional kiwi hosts.

SOUTH WESTLAND FISHING PACKAGE (code F060703)
Join me for four days of guided fly fishing at scenic South Westland and experience the remote bush fringed mountain rivers and streams. Spectacular sight fishing with dry fly and nymph for large brown trout. The scenery is amongst the best that New Zealand can offer. Some salt water fly options are available.
Accommodation for the first and last nights is in a quality Cromwell homestay, and while in South Westland, your nights will be spent in a comfortable motel.

MACKENZIE COUNTRY FISHING PACKAGE (code F060704)
The MacKenzie Country is an area well known for world class fishing for both brown trout and rainbow trout. The mountain scenery, blue lakes, clear rivers and golden tussock land provides clients with a unique experience in this beautiful area of the central South Island.
Accommodation is provided for the first and last nights in a Cromwell homestay (bed and breakfast) and while in the MacKenzie Country, your three nights will be spent near Lake Tekapo at a bed and breakfast (homestay).

SOUTHLAND RIVERS FLY FISHING PACKAGE(code F060705)
Southland rivers are world famous for their brown trout fishing, they have good populations of trout that are large by world standards and some of the hatches of mayflies and caddisflies are phenomenal. Here, local knowledge is important, including understanding the ecology of the streams and local waterways. This area is a fly fisher’s dream.
Accommodation is provided on the first and last nights at a quality Cromwell bed and breakfast (homestay) and while in Southland, you will be staying at FIVE RIVERS RETREAT BED & BREAKFAST.

SILVERPINE LODGE LUXURY FLY FISHING PACKAGE (code F060706)
River tributaries flowing into major Southern Lakes are well known as high quality trout fisheries. The rivers are clear and are well suited to sight fishing with dry fly and nymph for rainbow trout and brown trout. Remember Gary Borger’s wonderful video/DVD titled “South Island Sampler?” We can take you there!
Luxury accommodation is provided at SILVERPINE which is nestled high on the side of a hill and offering a million dollar view of Lake Hawea and the surrounding mountains. The meals are first class – Susan Yates is an accomplished chef.
ASPIRING HELICOPTERS can provide helicopter transport to get you onto pristine water where angling pressure is not a problem. Please note: The use of helicopters for angling access is an extra charge and is not included in the package cost below.

HELICOPTER OPTION
ASPIRING HELICOPTERS is licenced to carry passengers and has an impeccable safety record. TROUT FISHING SERVICES has been using ASPIRING HELICOPTERS for nearly ten years and we are proud of our association with this professionally operated helicopter service. For a minimum charge of 1.5 hours flying time, we are able to secure the helicopter and pilot for the day. Any extra flying time above 1.5 hours is charged accordingly. The three different helicopter models available are subject to availability, and the model choice can depend on the fishing party size.

Please note that the helicopter prices are based on 1.5 hours of flying time.
